Our Mission: Making Every Ride Better

At AKi Motorbike Rental, our mission is simple: to make renting and riding a motorbike in Da Nang easy, safe, and enjoyable.

We believe a good rental experience is more than just handing over a motorbike. It means providing reliable bikes, clear prices, honest service, and friendly support whenever our customers need us.

How we started

AKi started with a simple idea: renting a motorbike in Da Nang should be straightforward, honest, and stress-free.

We saw that travelers often have many questions before renting a motorbike — which bike to choose, whether the bike is well maintained, what documents are needed, how much the deposit is, and what happens if something goes wrong on the road.

So we decided to build a rental service around the things that matter most to customers: reliable motorbikes, transparent rental terms, fair prices, and people who are ready to help.

Our Responsibility

When you rent a motorbike from AKi, we understand that you are trusting us with an important part of your trip.

That's why we take our responsibility seriously. We aim to provide motorbikes that are properly maintained, rental information that is clear and easy to understand, and support when you need it.

We also believe in being honest about the limitations of each motorbike. Not every bike is suitable for every rider or every journey. If we think a particular motorbike is not suitable for your plans, we'll tell you.

Your safety and peace of mind are more important than simply making a rental.

Frequently asked questions

For motorbikes over 50cc, you need a valid motorcycle license that is recognized in Vietnam. An International Driving Permit (IDP) issued under the 1968 Vienna Convention, together with your original motorcycle license, is generally required for foreign riders.

If you don't have a valid license, we recommend choosing a 50cc motorbike where permitted, or using other transportation options such as Grab. Please contact us if you're unsure whether your license is valid in Vietnam.

Yes. You don't have to leave your passport as a deposit. Cash deposits are available depending on the motorbike you rent.

The deposit is returned when you return the motorbike in the agreed condition. Our team will explain the deposit amount before you confirm your rental.

Don't worry — if the motorbike has a mechanical problem caused by normal wear and tear or a natural mechanical failure, please contact us immediately. We will help arrange a repair, replacement, or roadside assistance when possible, and you will not be charged for normal mechanical failures.

However, if the damage is caused by an accident, misuse, negligence, or improper use by the rider, the rider is responsible for the repair costs.

Please don't repair or modify the motorbike yourself. Contact AKi first so we can help you properly.

Traffic fines are the responsibility of the rider who committed the traffic violation. If you are stopped or receive a fine, please contact us. We can help you communicate with the police and explain the necessary procedures.

Any traffic fines, penalties, or related costs caused by your violation are not included in the rental price and must be paid by the rider.
